Enabling Location for Sound.me

To get the best experience with the Sound.me app (including showing campaigns closest to your area), you’ll need to enable Location, Tracking, and Precise Location on your device. Follow the steps below depending on whether you’re using an iPhone or Android device.

On iPhone (iOS)

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Scroll down and tap Apps.

3. Select Sound.me.

4. Turn Allow Tracking ON (switch should be green).

5. Tap Location.

6. Choose one of these options:

   • Ask Next Time or When I Share

   • While Using the App

   • Always (recommended).

7. Toggle Precise Location to ON (green).

✅ Your iPhone is now set up with tracking and precise location for Sound.me!

On Android

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Scroll down and tap Apps (may also be called Apps & notifications).

3. Select Sound.me from the list.

4. Tap Permissions.

5. Tap Location.

6. Select Allow all the time (recommended), or Allow only while using the app.

7. Toggle Use precise location to ON (blue/green).

8. Go back to Permissions.

9. Turn Allow Tracking ON if prompted (may appear as Allow app to track activity or Allow personalized adsdepending on your Android version).
